The number one most celebrated act in Africa D'banj seems to have also
captured the heart of American tennis sisters the Williams.
Serena Williams and her sister Venus
William visited the country towards the tail end of year 2012 and also had an
exhibition match.
The sisters where spotted dancing to Dbanj's Oliver Twist. It was amazing
how thrilled they were with the song.
'D'banj is not a stranger to us and he is also one of the biggest and
greatest artist to come from Africa' Venus Williams said.
'We would have really loved to see him in person', the sisters also
continued.
All efforts however to make D'banj meet with the Williams sisters during
their stay in the country proved abortive.
The sisters were very happy to have visited Nigeria and according to them,
it was actually their first visit.
