3 YEAR OLD GIRL ABUSED

It was an unbelievable story,but it actually happened.
After Ramadan, I went to pay a visit to one of my friends in his home and there,his aunt narrated the  ordeal her daughter went through.
The aunt and her husband had been staying in this area for quite a while.They were loved by everybody or so it seems.They were wonderful people and so was their 3 year old daughter.Her husband is a businessman and the wife a trader.
It all happened on a friday.The young girl had returned early from school and the mum and dad were not yet back.The school bus had dropped her.This neighbour of theirs had volunteered to be responsible for her whenever her parents were not around.She is an elderly woman who loved kids a lot.She also had a 17 year old son.What made today different was that by the time the girl got to her neighbour's place,she was not around,but,her son was.
Since she young gir was used to the woman's son, she entered and went about her business like every other day.The boy then offered her a lollipop.She collected it and the boy carried her on his laps.
It sounds so disgusting.The boy raped her.
The parents returned same time the mother of the suspect only to find blood stains on the sofa and the girl crying profusely.With a closer look,they discovered their innocent daughter who just cocked three had been sexually abused.They carried her and immediately rushed her to the hospital. The doctor after having her examined confirmed that she had been brutally assaulted and was even lucky to still have her womb intact but still she had sustained internal injuries.
She then broke into tears...The mother of the boy has since been begging for forgiveness.They are neighbours who have been staying together for quite some time...
Should she make it public and make the boy pay for his sins or just keep it low and forgive the boy?
